First Giggles
Rylynn giggled for the first time today! We were having girl time while the boys were napping, she was sitting in my lap, cooing, smiling and all of a sudden she started giggling. It was adorable.

I Might Be The Worst Blogger Ever
Once again I've been slacking on the updates...
Gavin and Logan are starting to speak two word phrases. Their favorites are have it, get it, do it, and like it. The other night I made something for dinner that they didn't like, Gavin held up his plate and in a very distressed voice said "take it, take it." They also say kiss it when they get an owie. Hugs have become a new favorite and they are constantly asking for them. Logan's favorite time to ask is at bedtime because he knows it will let him stay up a little later.
On Father's Day we went to the zoo for the first time and they loved it. Almost every animal they saw they called a dog or a kitty. They were obsessed with the lion and still talk about how he was night night when we saw him. There wasn't a time during the visit that they didn't have smiles on their faces.
Gavin really loved the hamster that was running on a wheel. He would laugh hysterically when it would start running. We let them pick out a souvenir from the gift shop before we left and of course Logan immediately ran for the biggest stuffed animal. I eventually talked him into a small, much less expensive ferret. Both boys have been carrying around their "guys" and sleeping with them. Logan named his Butter and Gavin's is named Horsie.
We have had a few visits to our Bre house and I'm getting more and more excited to move in. The backyard is going to be amazing. Yesterday we spent a good hour at the house, Galen painted, I did yard work and the boys happily played outside. When it was time to leave they both had big meltdowns.
Yesterday, we also planted some veggies. All three kids and I braved Target and then the garden center to pick up gardening supplies. I read all of the vegetable choices to Gavin and Logan and they ended up deciding on tomatoes, peppers and eggplant. They think that the eggplant will grow eggs.
wWhen we got home I let them help me scoop dirt in the pots and then water the plants. Gavin did a really good job of making sure the plants were water, I'll actually be impressed if the plants survive all of the water he gave them. Logan kept trying to dig the plants back out of the pots. In the process he chopped off the top of the eggplant. We will see if any of the veggies actually grow.
Last week all three kids had check ups, Gavin and Logan's two year and Rylynn's two month. Gavin and Logan both weigh 25 lbs and are 35in tall. They are still in the 90th percentile for height and about the 10th for weight. Everything looks good for both of them and they don't need to go back for a whole year.
Rylynn is now 12lbs 5oz, which is more than double her birth weight of 6lbs 2oz. I swear all of her weight gain is in her cheeks. And she is 23.5in. She is in the 80th percentile for height and the 50th for weight. Recently she has started smiling a lot more and is making more and more cooing noises. Her swing has become one of her favorite places to be and she still hates her bouncy seat.
We've discovered that she has a bit of acid reflux. Every time she eats she gets really fussy, squirms around a lot and spits up more than she should. It obviously isn't impacting her weight gain but it's difficult to see her in so much pain. We have a few more days of trying smaller more frequent feedings and if that doesn't seem to resolve the issue, we will switch formulas.
