What's New In Our World...

Rylynn celebrated her first Thanksgiving.  She enjoyed sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie.

We celebrated Thanksgiving at my parent's house, Uncle Jake was home from California and we enjoyed spending time with him.  Gavin and Logan even got to go with Grammy and Papa to pick out their Christmas tree.

We put up our Christmas tree and have been wearing Christmas pajamas.  Logan left, Gavin right

We got two feet of snow in 48 hours.  Galen got a snow day and Gavin and Logan had so much fun shoveling.  Their favorite part was drinking hot chocolate when they came inside.

We tried taking our Christmas card pictures, we will be trying again this week.  Gavin left, Logan right.

Gavin and Logan are getting so excited for Christmas. Every time we ask "guess what we are going to do today" they yell "Christmas!"  They wrote (well I wrote and they told me what to say) letters to St Nick so they could put them in their shoes.  Their top requests were a train table, a red present and a blue present.  The next morning they were so excited to find chocolate coins, new pajamas and stickers in their shoes.  So far, they have been doing a really good job of not touching the tree, the presents or any of the decorations.

Today we went to see Santa and surprisingly all three of them were very good.  I was a little worried that we would have tears or a meltdown but they walked right up to Santa and told him they wanted a train table.  Rylynn even let Santa hold her.

Rylynn turned eight months on the 1st and is getting so big! Currently she is wearing 9 month clothing and in size 3 diapers. She really likes to stand, hates attempting to crawl and is sleeping horribly.  Luckily, she is still full of giggles and smiles.  Her brothers are her favorite people and she loves it when they are around.  They like to play peek a boo with her and make her laugh.  She is very interested in playing with toys, chewing on everything and getting upset when she doesn't get to eat real food.  In the past two weeks she has gotten to eat Cheerios, bananas and puffs.  The boys really like it when she gets food because they say "Rylynn share with us."
