Gavin and Logan: November 2014

It's almost December 1st! And that means that it's been almost six months since I've written anything or posted any pictures. I'm beginning to think that this whole blogging thing isn't working out too well.

Gavin and Logan are now 3.5 years old and finally potty trained! It actually happened in July and it was such a smooth transition. They randomly decided one day that they were going to start using the potty and have been ever since! They also switched from rear facing to forward facing in the car this summer, which was a huge step for me. The first time they got to ride forward facing, they were so excited. Every time we get in the car, they talk so much more and tell us all about the things that they can see out their windows. Occasionally, we have fights because only one kid can see something out his window and the other one can't.

Currently, their favorite TV show is Paw Patrol, and they dressed up as Paw Patrol characters for Halloween. Gavin was Chase, the police dog and Logan was Marshall the fire dog. They can usually be found playing trains, Duplos, or pretending to be puppies. Gavin's favorite foods include, chicken (he will eat pretty much any meat as long as you tell him it's chicken), apples and mac and cheese. He's a picky eater and it's sometimes a struggle to get him to try new things. Recently he has started trying one bite of the veggie that's on his plate without being asked. Logan's favorite foods fork chops (pork chops), carrots, and lasagna. It's not difficult to get Logan to try new foods, he will even eat salad!

Rylynn is now 20 months old and amazing us every day with all of the words she knows! Some of her favorites are no, um, yep, thank you, baby and brothers. She loves clothes, especially sweaters and boots, and really likes to wear bows and ponytails in her hair. Her favorite TV show is Mickey Mouse, she loves Minnie! Rylynn is the sweetest girl, she likes to give hugs and kisses. She follows her brothers around and tries to do what they are doing. Usually she ends up making them mad, but the three of them have their moments when they play nicely together.
