Our weekend could have gone a little bit better. Gavin had to go to Urgent Care because he woke up from his nap on Saturday with a weird rash. He had been running a fever for a few days and just got the all clear, it's a virus from his pediatrician on Friday, but we decided he needed to be seen for the rash. The urgent care doctor was very nice and helpful, and complimented me a few times on how great Gavin looked, even though he was sick. And our nurse was someone who knows Grandma Nancy and told us that she still prays for us every day, it was sweet. Anyways, the doctor diagnosed Gavin with an upper respiratory viral infection. Basically, we just had to wait it out and he would get better. Within two days he was running around like normal again.
On Sunday, we attempted to go to the cabin. We planned on the boys napping in the car for the drive which usually takes a little over an hour. Well, our plan backfired when they only slept for twenty minutes. They were so crabby for the rest of the day. Logan kept having trouble walking because he was overtired and trying to run. He ended up falling three times and bumping his head. We only ended up staying for an hour and a half before we decided it was too much work.
Just hanging out in the fridge.
