The boys are two weeks old and it's hard to believe that it went by so fast. We finally got discharged from the hospital on Friday and are enjoying our time at home. It's nice to have the comforts of home and it was great to finally see the boys in their crib. They like to snuggle up to each other when they sleep. We are slowly getting into a routine, which involves feedings every three hours, even if they are sleeping. They are slowly becoming more alert and stay awake for longer periods of time. We tried out the bouncy seats and the activity mat today and they loved the bouncy seats. The activity mat will probably have to wait a little longer.
Gavin and Logan are both so tiny. Logan only fits into some premie clothes. He is so long and skinny like his dad that we have to be picky about premie outfits, especially ones that have pants. Gavin is too big for premie outfits but too small for newborn outfits, he tends to curl his feet up in his sleepers. They are a little mismatched and homeless looking at times, but it's kind of cute.
Our first outing was to the clinic on Sunday so I could get blood drawn. The plan was to leave at noon, we left at one. Babies take a long time to get ready! We also walked around Target to pick up some last minute baby stuff and attmept to find Logan some clothes to wear. I was pretty paranoid about people touching/breathing on them but we managed to escape without anything happening.
Other than adding two babies into our lives, not much is new here. Bowser is attempting to adjust and is actually doing much better than expected. Galen and I are doing great, minus the lack of sleep, but it's nothing that a little caffine can't fix.
