January has kept us busy, busy! We went on a five day vacation with Galen's family. It was great to spend time with everyone but Gavin and Logan spent the whole time being sick. They both had colds while we were there and they didn't really want to sleep since we were in a strange place. We had to drive around every day at nap time so they could fall asleep in the car.
Despite being sick, we managed to do some fun activities. We spent an evening at the mall, had dinner at the Rain Forrest Cafe, which the boys loved because they could run around. They like to look at all of the fish and different animals. The highlight of the night was probably the stop at the Disney Store where they got to see multiple Mickeys and even buy some little Mickey Mouse figurines. We also were able to go stay at my parents for a night, visit with Papa and Gran and go out to lunch with Sami. It was great that we were so close so we could visit people.
Gavin and Logan's vocabulary has once again expanded in the past few weeks. They never fail to amaze me and seem to say new words every day. Gavin still talks a bit more than Logan and his new words are, yellow, knee, up, off, coat, and plate. Logan's new words are no no (most frequently said to Bowser, while shaking his finger at him) and TV. Both of them are now saying poop, and if Bowser has an accident on the carpet they get excited, point and say poop. Yay for boys and their obsession with gross things.
