Home Sweet Home

We arrived home on Tuesday night and I am happy to report that the flights home went just as well as the flights there.  Gavin slept on both flights and only woke up once crying.  He cried for a minute and then snuggled up and went back to sleep.  Logan slept for the first flight and was awake for the second.  Luckily, he was very happy for the flight.  He even got a cup from the flight attendant that kept him occupied for quite some time.

Once we arrived back home we encountered a little problem, our luggage didn't make it with us.  We had one checked bag, which wasn't a big deal because it just had clothes in it, but we didn't have the carseats.  We were able to borrow unused four year old carseats until we got ours back.  It took us about an hour to figure out how to adjust the straps and get them put into a car.  Gavin and Logan cried the entire time we were trying to get the carseats situated.  It ended up being a longer night that we had anticipated but it all worked out in the end.  I'm very grateful that delayed luggage was the only problem we had on our first flight with the boys.

The morning after we got back Logan had his head appointment at Gillette.  He was seen by a nurse practitioner and she decided that his head will probably continue to correct itself.  Just to be on the safe side we will be going to Gillette for monthly check ups to monitor his progress.  Galen and I feel very confident in their decision and are both happy that Logan will not need a helmet.
