The Terrible One's

Turning one has brought on a whole new set of challenges. Gavin and Logan steal toys from each other like crazy and they aren't content unless they have the other ones toy.  It's certainly making life interesting because they both end up being mad. Generally when they fight over toys, Logan wins, and smiles a little smile that seems to say haha.  And then Gavin smashes his face in the ground. They also wrestle and tackle. We are working on sharing and giving hugs.

They have also learned how to climb up on the couch which means that they can't be left alone for even thirty seconds.  Climbing the couch is cooler than all of their new birthday toys and it's the only thing the want to do.  My day consists of lift Gavin off the couch, lifting Logan off the couch and then repeating fifty million times.

Today we set up their new water table and headed outside.  After a week of cold, rainy weather it was finally sunny and warm.  Gavin loved splashing in the water and pouring water on Bowser. Logan loved laughing at Bowser and crawling around on the cement, no grass yet.   Yesterday Logan had an appointment with his primary doctor regarding all of his ear infections.  Next week he will go see an ear, nose and throat doctor to discuss tubes.  Hopefully we can come up with a solution that ends the ear infections and gets him sleeping better.
